ESA Welcomes Libra Forde and Robert Torch to our Board of Directors

We’re excited to announce the newest additions to the Elite Sports Academy (ESA) Board of Directors: Libra Forde and Robert Torch!

As ESA continues to grow, our mission remains clear—to promote health and wellness throughout minority and under-resourced communities by providing free sports and educational-based programs. Welcoming these two powerhouse leaders to our board strengthens that mission and brings a new level of vision, experience, and heart to our organization.

Meet Libra Forde

Libra Forde is a dynamic community leader and the current Executive Director at the Women’s Foundation of Oregon, where she leads critical efforts to advance gender equity across the state. Known for her bold voice and deep commitment to youth and families, Libra brings a wealth of nonprofit leadership experience that aligns perfectly with ESA’s values.

Her passion for building equitable systems and empowering underrepresented communities makes her a powerful addition to our board. Libra’s insight and strategic leadership will help guide ESA as we continue to grow our impact and reach more youth through sports and mentorship.

Meet Robert Torch

Robert Torch brings a strong combination of leadership, governance, and professional expertise to the ESA board. He is the former Board President of the Multnomah Athletic Club, one of the region’s most respected athletic institutions, and has built a successful career in law.

Rob’s background in legal strategy and organizational leadership, along with his commitment to youth athletics, makes him a valuable asset to ESA as we continue expanding our programs and building strong community partnerships.
